Family Photography in Tenafly NJ Bergen County
As a family photographer in Tenafly NJ, now that the weather is warmer I love incorporating the great outdoors into sessions. Sessions typically begin in the comfort of a client’s home. Babies and small kids tend to be more comfortable in their home environment therefore newborn photography sessions are usually at the comfort of the client’s home. The warmer weather however, allows us to explore outside the home.
I love the connection these sisters share. They are 9 years apart but their bond is strong and beautiful to observe. This was taken during Cherry blossom season. It is always too short and this year was particularly cold and windy. The blossoms however called our name and we took our session outside surrounded by their beauty.

This particular session brought together three sisters for a cherry blossom family session in Tenafly NJ — each about nine years apart, spanning nearly two decades of family life in one frame. The oldest, the middle, and the baby. And yet the connection between them was immediate and natural. Those are the sessions that remind me why I love what I do. The blossoms were cold and wind-blown that day, but the girls were completely in their own world — laughing, spinning, holding the baby close. That’s what cherry blossom season looks like when you stop trying to control it.
