Being voted top 20 photographer for the category of Maternity Photography NYC humbles me and gives me a great responsibility. It’s a special time in family’s lives and I wanted to make sure everything comes out just right. I was so excited to photograph this maternity photography session in Sandy Hook, NJ. It was a beautiful scenic change as most often I photograph in-home family or newborn photo sessions. Sandy Hook is a lovely beach area with ample space and always very clean in my experience. This beach was a personal choice for both of the parents who used to live in the area. It was both nostalgic and dear to them.
Film Session
As a maternity photographer, who shoots both film and digitally, I really appreciated that mom, who is also a fellow photographer, requested an all film session. I was really happy to oblige. The weather was beautiful and the relaxed atmosphere really guided the session resulting in a fun and laid-back session for all.
