Maternity Photographer Montclair NJ — In-Home Lifestyle Sessions
As a maternity photographer in Montclair NJ, capturing and preserving this special time in a mother’s life is one of my greatest privileges. The bond between mother and child is beautifully present before the baby has even arrived — and when there are already three children in the picture, that bond fills every single frame.
I had the pleasure of photographing Saydi Callahan and Dave Keefe’s maternity session in their Montclair home. Saydi Callahan creates beautiful portraits and abstract art, and her husband Dave Keefe is equally talented. Both share a deep passion for art — and the walls of their home reflect that love beautifully. But their most important masterpiece is the family they have created together — three children already, and one more on the way.
What made this session so special was watching the older kids with their mom. The tenderness, the curiosity, the quiet excitement of knowing something is about to change. Those are the moments I came for — and they showed up in every room of that home.

The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks — when the belly is beautifully full and most moms are still comfortable enough to move and enjoy the experience.
