Advantage of Newborn Session at Home

A newborn family session is usually done at home as it is more relaxing for mom and the baby. I love an in-home newborn session and it is one of my favorite photo sessions. In addition, when doing the session at home these sessions capture not only the family but also one of their sacred places, which is their home.

3 Weeks Baby Girl

This photo session took place when the baby was 3 weeks old and the baby was a bit more mature. Photographing at this age is an ideal time, as it gives you a bigger variety of photos of the baby sleeping and being awake. Additionally, the mom has more time to recuperate after the birth. This family and newborn session below was fun and relaxed.  I am glad I was able to capture the family’s love and connection as well as each parent’s special bond with each of their children. Loved the family, their connection and their home. However, the little baby girl’s soulful eyes are something I will keep in my memory pocket for awhile.
